Aerial lift is a also a transportation vehicle where in the gondolas or the open chairs are being lifted up above from the ground though cables and wires that is attached to it. It serves as the lifting equipment that involves with skyscrapers constructions and all difficult task that are on at high environment. This is also used by some telephone companies on maintaining their telephone lines on the poles, used also on raising items or heavy things to a high buildings or those houses with more stories on it.

There are many types of aerial lifting which is used depending on it uses and it is applied on the work in the field. Different classes of aerial lifts includes:

Scissor lifts, this also called the genie lifts, and regarded as the basic and simple type of lifter. This lift is basically consisting of a platform in which the person or heavy things that is placed in there is being lifted with the use of pneumatic power. This lift is dedicated on it use indoors and regarded as the safest lift available. It is called scissors because when the platform is extended then the extensions are look like scissors that pushes that platform upward.

Boom lift is also a type of aerial lift that is much complicated and more risky than on scissor lift. Basically the boom lift has a huge bucket on the end part of the long joint arm that is attached on a heavy base of the boom lift. The bucket is consist of many control buttons that the operator it self is lifted and then uses the controls to move the arm side by side and up/ down behavior. This is usually used on constructions and other purposes ouch as repairing cable wires or painting a building.

Vehicle lift is also the type of lift that is usually mounted on a vehicle that carries it. Then it is also qualified as the boom lift because it has the same functions like, arms and buckets on the end and is used also on repair and emergency purposes. This is usually being seen on fire trucks and other vehicle that is used on emergency hours. This is the most risky because it is attached on a vehicle and not on its basic bottom. This lift has a different control from the vehicle and therefore skilled operators are only authorized to use the lift.
